New year...New school

Well...Summer is over and it's officially back to work for me! However this school year is a little more exciting! As you know, I started back to work at a new school this year! I have to say Indian Hills is all that I thought it would be and a whole lot more! What a fantastic school it is! I can't say enough about the staff and admin. They have been so helpful and enthuastic! I can't wait to start builiding relationships with these great people. My room on the other hand is slowly but surely coming along...Who would have thought that 4 years in one place would have collected so much stuff, but I did! any who...I am very excited about this school year and can't wait to see what it holds for me! To all my teacher friends: Hope you all have a fantastic year!

Happy 4th of July!!! THe Hoggard Family is still in Piggott, for the 4th! Caden loved the parade and the picnic! We're having fun visiting family. More to come later :)

It's official...

I know I'm a nerd, 2 posts in one day, but I'm really excited about having a cute blog! But this post is very exciting! I forgot to mention that I'm switching schools! I am now officially a teacher at Indian Hills Elementary School in North Little Rock. Its' still with the same district, just a different place! I'm super excited,yet nervous about this new adventure I'm about to partake upon! Wish me luck!

I haven't been the best blogger, but anyways...I thought I would write my first post of the summer about my little monkey....and a monkey he is!
Some things Caden has been up lately:

belly crawiling....HE IS EVERYWHERE including the fireplace,kitchen,foyer, and anywhere else his little hands will get him.
Follows duke around the house, then grab tails,fur,whiskers whatever is nearby. However poor duke takes it willingly.
Loves MICKEY MOUSE...if he here's the theme song he will immediately look around to see where it's coming from.
sits up from crawling position..a little scary when we first saw this happen in his crib!
Drinking from sippy cup-still a little weary on this one but is warming up to the idea.

Blurts out da-da ALL the time we're still working on Ma-ma...:)

Throws fits out of this world, but still love my little man...
